Border
Loop ride - 230 + miles. 10 hours.
This
ride loops the Arivaca and Madera Canyon rides together with an
added loop to the border town of Lochiel. If you want a long, straight
stretch of smooth dirt road to "open 'er up," this is
your ride.
While
230 miles may seem like a lot, the pace for the day is very relaxed
to allow us to complete the ride without pushing ourselves. The
beauty of this ride is that it encompasses every possible combination
of terrain with beautiful surroundings.
We'll
stop for fuel and have breakfast in Green Valley after a couple
of hours of riding, and then we'll shoot for lunch in Nogales or
Rio Rico. Once in Arivaca, we'll re-energize and refill our water
for the last leg of our journey
We
can also run this route in reverse.
Must
have valid motorcycle endorsement to be legal as we travel on Forest
Service roads and some public highways.
